One of my favorite games of all time for the world's story telling alone. Ravaged by a virus during one of the worst winters on record, then ravaged by a Hurricane on par if not more powerful than Hurricane Sandy. The Division is just a good game to explore to enjoy every tiny little detail.

I loved the layout of NYC in Division 1. Haven't tapped into D2 yet but it can't be any less accurate than D1. As a life long New Yorker, and Uber driver, I knew my way around The Division like I knew actual Manhattan.

Thats the Reason why this Game feels so Realistic, this feeling makes the Game Unique as a Shooter. Go Home CoD with your fictional States and Countries and Areas.

Thank you for this! I was wondering how the game compared to actual New York City locations. They were spot on. Kinda depressing now in the wake of the news, but I do enjoy exploring these locations in the game. The devs did an amazing job!

The building in front of Pier 26 in the game (pier 17 in reality) isn't even finished yet and they have what will be damn close to the finished product in the game already. Amazing

Wow, good work Ubi design team! I think they should keep this map for future games. All they should do is make more buildings accessable as computer hardware improves

Got the game a few days ago for Playstation and eventhough I have seen quite a bit as a gamer this beauty stands out. It's digital art. I can hardly imagine the amount of work that went into creating this. One of the gems you'll always remember, even generations from now

When I went to NY people looked at me strangely when they saw me as I was always looking for cover 😋

The designers def deserve an award for attention to detail.... from garbage that falls when you pass by, to the lighting of buildings in the dusk, to the realistic way the ground, road, sidewalk etc would look in such an instance. If only ALL creators would put this much love, care and detail in their games.

The only thing disappointing is that there are no subway platforms and or areas that the first Division contains. Patroling in the MTA for 30 years now, I would have loved to see the downtown stations as well.

Watching this makes me want to play the game for the singleplayer alone..

It is the same with DC, i know DC very well and if I walk through DC in TD2 I often have this deja vu...done very well

Ubi did a phenomenal job capturing my city. Though some spots are inaccurate because of licensing, like the Federal Reserve. But overall, running around the new lower Manhattan map feels just like Midtown map of TD1. I'm always stopping and looking around at spots I frequent in real life. Shame the map doesn't go beyond Canal street.

They’re both about to become reality real soon.
