The three different views are for only one thing, "dialectic development." Many people are confused and ask, "Why three?" Marx said to Engles, "Three is too many." He wanted to describe dialectic philosophy with a single description. It's very unfortunate that many people are confused with three ways to describe it. For example, scientific development is dialectic. You observe events and create theory. At this stage, events dictate theory. Once the theory is verified, you apply it to every event using the theory. At this stage, theory dictates it. When theory encounters something that breaks the theory, then events dictate it again. A physics theory is developed by the repeated negation of theories. Ultimately, what controls physics? Not a god, but nature. So it must be materialism.

The world is in an constant motion, it is not thoughts nor an abstract being that pushes reality, but matter itself, through laws of dialectics, going through a constant progression (not so much a cycle) / motion or “structural changes” to steal from Carlos a bit.

From many small quantitative changes into a qualitative change (water into gas), an interpenetration of opposites, not externally but internally rather. In a whole, or somethings totality, there exists a relationship of polar opposites that interact with each other, which blends/rather accumulate into the quantitative changes which in turn develop into something new. Then there is the negation of the negation

How can we apply the law of nagation of the negation for a country that is going to the polls to elect a president?
