good short useful video, thanks! i just did this today on my Subaru Crosstrek XV 2014 ... took the filter out ... tapped it gently against the bathroom tub side on the inside to get the dirt and debris out first ... then washed it thoroughly using near-powerful kitchen sync water spray ... shook it mildly to get excess water out on the floor outside ... then blew it dry using an almost strong blower with mild heat on a special unit in the residential community's dog-wash spot ... an hair blower could do the job too, but we don't have one at home! 🙂

What is the secondary filter that is near the engine filter? I just changed the engine filter today but the other one is dirty and seems like it is attached and cont come out. its the white filter you see when the mechanic takes out the filter.
