Democrats appeared to have staved off a Republican "red wave" as the dust settled from Tuesday's midterm elections, but overall control of Congress remains unresolved, with the GOP still within striking distance of taking the House and the battle for the Senate coming down to a handful of remaining races.

If Arizona had a population of 72. It would still take them a week to count the votes

For those wondering why Arizona is taking so long, just look up who's in charge of counting the votes.

The media should have focus on why it takes so long to count the ballots?

"The edges are blue, the middle is red, and everyone is mad at Florida" never gets old XD

Florida had their stuff together. Arizona has become what Florida was in 2000

Because Florida has simple voting laws. And doesn’t allow fraudulent voting.
Amazing how such a big stage can count all those votes in (1) day. Without any system malfunctioning or midnight vote dumps.

Gerrymandering is why it only hit florida, it was targeted.

Because that’s the only state that banned mail in ballots.

because Ron DeSantis actually secured the voting in Florida.

It probably doesn’t help that people are moving out of blue states and into red states, so the blue states get more blue.

I mean... it could also have something to do with Florida cracking down on election insecurity...

Smallest to biggest reasons:
1. High wave of conservative and wealthy senior citizens relocating to Florida during and post pandemic
2. Culturally conservative Latinos being alienated by social liberalism
3. Having a former 1-term governor run
4. Gerrymandering

That's because DeSantis made sure that no cheating was done and shut down any attempts of it

Florida elections and vote counting is the model for the country. That's why we can tabulate over 2 million ballots in 2 hours from mail-in, drop off, early and in person voting.

Bc Florida counts its ballots fairly and quickly. Its odd that the state that counts its ballots the fastest goes red.

Red Wave in Ohio also. Ohio and Florida don't eff around when it comes to voting. We make voters show ID and don't use dominion machines.

Does CBS look at the map they put up and say, "look at all that red.... we'll just pretend it's all blue"?

Within a few hours of Arizona's voting opening we had "tabulation" issues. To every American who didn't just graduate high school or "migrate" here last week, it's obvious what is happening. For 50 yrs now I've never seen every major election suddenly have voting issues. It's a no brainer.
