Best shoegaze I’ve heard in years is by the Russian band Blankenberge. They’ve got their own sound, not just trying to be like Slowdive or MBV. I also need to shout out to Luminous Orange, which is basically one woman from Japan, who’s been making great music since the 90s.

Life on Venus is a Russian based shoegaze band and their album "Encounters" is what got me into shoegaze. Their newest album "Odes to the Void' sounds absolutely fantastic as well.

My favorite shoegaze band nowadays is "The Stargazer Lilies".

Guys if you like the hypnotising side of My Bloody Valentine's beautiful wall of sound, you definitely need to check this band.

Especially their "Lost" album is amazing!

I listen it when i want to sleep, or long bus travellings. I could not find another band like them also. I even like them more than most of the old shoegaze bands like Ride, The Jesus and the Mary Chain.

Fukitol is my jam from that album.

Awesome bands dude! If you haven't heard Pinkshinyultrablast, I totally recommend them. They're from Rusaia and are awesome. Contrast from Australia is kick asa too and She her her hers from Japan are definitely worth checking out. From Spain check out Los Planetas and from Argentina Soda Stereo with their album dynamo. Keep it up bro. We are the few, the proud...The Shoegazers!!!

Thanks for the list of new songs, Heal and Porch Song are killer. Another commenter mentioned Blankenberge and I'm enjoying them too. I'll list my fav shoegaze songs from the recent past. Hopefully, there will be a couple new to you and others here:

Torche - Admission The most driving 'gaze song I've ever heard. It has LITERALLY put me in a better mood at times.

Lowtide - Alibi This song stayed new to me for nearly 4 months of heavy listening. Wonderful.

Pastel Clouds - Never Ending Days and Crimson Snow Both of these songs have an infectious quirkiness to them.

Newmoon - Life In the Sun They have several songs I like, this is my fav.

ceremony - clouds Described by some as the best shoegaze song from 10 years ago. Listen to the original master/video, because the remaster depowers the guitars/dynamics, oddly. Stayed new to me for about 3 years.

Nothing - In Blueberry Memories My fav song off their latest album. Reminds me of Filter - Consider This.

Googolplex - Blind Glo-fi, but totally has a shoegaze feel with the vocals to match.

Sleep Token - The Offering Not shoegaze AT ALL but djent-ish with a distinct vocal style. Great song, thought I'd throw it in here.

went for a walk today and listened to the albums by Moon Loves Honey and the album by Coaches...so so nice...thanks for recommending and please let us know what you're listening to these days...always great to find more new music :) Forgot to mention...thought of another band you might like...they are called Pretty Girls Make Graves, the album to listen to is called "The New Romance" (2003)...again, not strictly shoegaze but i think you'll enjoy the songs and the melodies...it's one of my favorites of all time.

Pasteboard Glitter album is a great one off by a Japanese duo that has become a classic dream pop/shoegaze disc for me:)

If you're looking for a different kind of shoegaze, I recommend Coaltar of the Deepers. They incorporate many many influences like hardcore and metal so they sound very different from your average shoegaze sort of vibe, but they write some great tunes. My Speedy Sarah is my personal favorite.

A lot of the bands I listen to seem to be early second-wave bands that not a ton of people have heard of. I heard most of the bands around 1997, the only bands I saw around that time was, and I shit you not, a warehouse show that had Airiel Project One (the early form of Airiel), Mahogany and Auburn Lull all on the same bill. That was one hell of a gig, and there were even 3 other bands on the bill haha!

Here are a couple of recommendation for you!
Hartfield - True Color, True Lie (2003.10.24)
Dive - Frame Freeze E.P. ++ (2003.10.xx)
Burrrn - Blaze Down His Way Like The Space Show (2011)

There are two solid shoegaze/dream pop bands in Poland right now that deserve some recognition - Kwiaty and Bez. They both have their debut albums out. Lyrics are in Polish, which may be quite exotic for a shoegaze genre
Strangers In My House is also a project worth checking out. I'm quite happy that Polish shoegaze scene is in bloom
