Samsung’s Gear S3 watch first look

Samsung’s Gear S3 takes everything that’s good about the Gear S2 and adds even more to it. The S3 is bigger, with built-in GPS and an option for LTE, and comes in two designs, the Classic and the Frontier. Here’s our first look at both of them.

That Samsung Pay magnetic pay feature is the most underrated feature! Ppl are talking about it like no big deal. NFC payments are so far and few between that having you watch able to make payments at 9/10 cash registers is huge. I hope it works with Nome Samsung phones. of it does I'm getting one. I can finally retire my Moto 360 first gen. The smartwatch game is features and battery life. They all pretty much do the same same this one knocks it out of the park

I like the classic look but why doesn"t Samsung supply LTE on the classic model?

My biggest question is . . . how is the watch band. With my S2, the watch band has a cheap look and feel. Worse, the watch design where the watch band actually connects to the watch is very poor. I have literally irreperably "ripped" the watch band off both sides of the watch. Finding a replacement band was downright impossible. I was reduced to super-gluing the watch band to the actual watch. While this works, I find it rather ridiculous to have to do this for a watch I paid $250 for.

That watch looks exactly like the Garmin Fenix 3. Unless Samsung Partnered with Garmin I find this really hard to believe that this could be the Gear S3. If this is the gear S3, Samsung made a horrible downgrade. It looks just like the Garmin Fenix 3 unbelievable.

'Kind of nailed it' lmao I have never seen any Samsung watches out in public. The only smart watches I see are Apple Watches
