Tim Burton was asked why he chose Michael Keaton of all actors to play Batman back in 1989. He replied that it was Keaton's eyes that captured the character.

I'm seeing a lot of that in Robert Pattinson's portrayal here. His expressiveness through the eyes is chilling in these trailers.

This trailer still gives me chills and brings me to tears. The movie? It competes in my mind with The Dark Knight as the best Batman film. Truly an epic movie & a great DETECTIVE movie.
