I think a huge card that you missed is firja’s retribution (angel saga) That card has been amazing in standard 22. It first mode makes a big body for 4 mana that is semi difficult to remove and trades with goldspan. It’s second acts as removal, and third mode just closes out games since boardwipes are so much more infrequent

There’s something amazing about Dev’s speech, it’s hard to quantify but the cadence, the accent, the tone, positivity, levity, and the pace is right on, very good to listen too. Man should go into radio or commentary or something.

Baleful Mastery. No one talks about this card when talking about removal and I don't understand why they aren't. It exiles, getting past dies triggers and indestructible, and late game, you don't have to have your opponent draw. It's so good

I feel like depending on MID there's going to be an Izzet Control or Jeskai shell (Reconstruct History?) that Battle of Frost and Fire slots right in to as well, I think the card will see plenty of play outside of Giant tribal decks. Alrund's Epiphany, Mordenkainen etc. any of the other big spells in those colors on third chapter can easily close the door on comebacks with second chapter helping to set up and 4 damage really is enough to mop up most of the format we know of so far

Cheers for the content dev, you're the best! For my top one card on this list I'd say: treasure token. The ramp and mana fixing we will use alot!

And with all that treasures and sacrifice around, Sarulf is my new favorite card. He just stops players in their tracks many times. Protect him with snake skin veil or professors warning and watch them squirm.

That’s a nice color shirt! Also I think lotus cobra might get better as well. I have a pretty schwifty simic ramp deck that uses it and I have had a lot of explosive turn 3s with it. I like tarrasque as a payoff even if it's not *that* good. I got decent results on ladder with a black green treasure ramp into tarrasque deck. Main issue is EVERYONE is running black green ramp right now, that or treasure dragons. Here's my hot take: I've started putting Broken Wings or Plummets into my decks because I'm broke and between goldspan and all the angels they're really actually quite useful it seems.
