One tip for black armpits is that sometimes its not just dirt or dead skin. sometimes its an issue called nigricans. Which can be treated using a cream named as the problem and reducing sugar, excercising and clean diet

Don't scrub hard. Armpit skin is sensitive. So no physical exfoliation. You need chemical exfoliation. Salicylic acid body wash or face wash is a good choice depending on sensitivity of the skin. It will exfoliate and will help lighten the skin a bit.
