As a side note, the "spacer" at 2:58 in the video is actually the CV Axle Assembly Washer (ACDelco 11611965) is GMC specific, it isn't listed as a part for Buick or Chevy's. I just spent two hours trying to figure out what it was actually called and why it wasn't on my vehicle. :)

Oh the lack of rust & ease of removal has me envious…& the way the wheel speed sensor came out in one piece, amazing! Lol

When the man says be careful removing the speed sensor, LISTEN TO HIM! The driver's side on my Acadia was damaged during the wheel bearing replacement job. That stupid little sensor is routed through the fender, into the rear/bottom of the engine bay, and the electrical connection is placed UNDER the air filter box. Special thanks to the GM engineer that put that idea into action. What a pain to replace it! Save yourself over an extra hour of headache, and BE EXTRA CAREFUL when removing that sensor.

how long did you beat it with a hammer/slide hammer before it just so gracefully popped out?

Pay attention to the direction the brake shields are facing, especially making sure they curve outward/away from the rotor as they will dig into them. Excellent video!

Thanks you guys for doing the video. Just finished my son's 2011, did the the same side, ordered both bearings from the link, got the front set, comes out a lil cheaper, but your bolt sizes were all spot on. Thank God it wasnt' one like the video you guys got for the stuck wheel hub, that video gave me nightmare's before starting this one. Done in less than an hour. Oh and delivery time from A1 was like 2 days, insane fast for something that heavy.

Thanks for all of the videos on Lambdas - thanks to your videos and parts I did the front lower control arms, struts, tie rods, sway bar links and bushings. Still have a vibration at high speed 70+ (4 new tires, alignment in the past 100 miles) thinking the bearings need to be replaced. How should I check?

Out of curiosity, I heard that the hub assembly could be the cause of the abs & traction control lights to be on. The abs code I have is for the front left speed sensor. I replaced both front left and right speed sensors on my 12 Acadia and still have the problem with the lights on. Could this be the issue? Not the hub itself the but magnetic ring the sensor reads from?

After depressing the brake caliper piston can you just leave it as is ? Will break pads fit the same ?

My CV axle is seized to the hub assembly. Tried many options including a brass punch/wheel hub puller/electric rotary hammer. Instead... can I just throw away the cv axle and whatever it's seized to... like the hub assembly or do I also need a new knuckle?

I will probably be doing this on the wife's 2015. I haven't watched the whole video but will it need an alignment afterwards?
