Summary:
If you have more than 6 contractions in an hour and that are regular and won't go away by drinking fluid or lying down before 37 weeks you should head to the hospital.

I have placenta previa and currently on hosbital bedrest. My problem is I start contacting and then bleeding. So far we have had 3 instances of this. I've had several shots in the arm, I've had Magnesium (not fun by the way) and procardia. Today I hit 34 weeks and if it happens again then they aren't gonna try too hard to stop it and they will just deliver. It's bitter sweet because I want him to stay in as long as possible but I'm also tired of living in fear of another hemerage. When I say "bleeding" I mean large clots, study stream of blood as if I'm peeing pure blood. It's scary.

I have been diagnosed with a shorten cervix, so I have been seeing the doctor a ton but I am scared to death the baby will come early Im only 32 weeks pregnant, the contractions are not helping me any then all the pain in my lower back and left leg and my pelvic area some days I feel like I have been hit by a truck...the doctor has given me two doses of steroids for the babies lungs I am hoping he stays at least another 6 weeks.
