Panasonic Lumix GM-1 review

Hi, welcome to my first camera review, of the excellent Panasonic Lumix GM-1 camera, with the 12-32mm 'kit' lens.

Thanks Andrew. I agree with many of your points, including batteries. I carry three batteries, which I have never used more than 2 in any day. I travel a lot for work, so I love the size. I agree that the first time its a bit cumbersome because of the small size, but I got used to it and have no regrets. So happy that I moved my Nikons on to other happy buyers. Im a firm believer that a camera in hand is by far a better camera than a full spec DSLR sitting at home. Its so small that its not intimidating, and people of different cultures don't feel intimidated when I start pulling it out to take some photos in remote rural locations. The photos are great and I still travel with it everywhere. This camera with the 12-32 kit lens, a Panny 20mm prime and the Panny 35-100mm zoom and a GoPro etc all fit in a bum bag that is around my waist (instead of lugging a large camera bag over my shoulder). Still very happy with the quality and convenience after using it for a few years.

Excellent review! Very pleasant and enthusiastic, and good point regarding battery life. I bought my GM1 new at a bargain price, about a year ago, and even if I'm primarily a Fuji fetishist, I love the Lumix. Shame on you for selling it, though ;-)
