I have tried all of these solutions and nothing has worked for me. Adobe is updated fully, I've repaired the installation twice, I have disabled and enabled the option to enable file explorer previews in preferences, I've manually set Adobe Acrobat Pro as my default .pdf reader, and I've set it as default through Adobe's preferences menu, and nothing has solved the problem. When attempting to preview a pdf in file explorer, text appears in place of the preview stating "This file can't be previewed."

Strangely enough, when I change file explorer from the "Preview Pane" to the "Details Pane" it shows a thumbnail of the document. It's only an issue with previewing in the preview pane.

Any further help is appreciated.

For me - the fix was in Adobe - no updates available - then ran repair installation in Adobe. thank you for this video!

A good video but were W11 FE to be robust program you would not have needed to make it.

bear in mind that another program can change the default application or block the preview like wps office for example.

it did not fix the problem also now every installation of reader prompt to un install all other acrobat versions
