Fun fact; I used to draw free pictures for kids back in elementary school, and I became quite popular for it (people even dedicated entire folders in their book bags of art I did for them).

the wedding story about not giving gifts but putting money in bank accounts, it's actually a rising trend here in Finland. It saves the trouble of opening a registry, hoping people go by it, and then trying to find places for all the unnecessary things people gave you without seeming ungrateful. Here gift giving was seen as something you do for a new couple who need stuff, but no one here gets married without having already lived together for a long while. So they're not in any need for any new stuff. It's also easier for guests because they have the freedom to choose whether to send money or not, and also the amount they want to send.

The title of the short film, by the guy who needs the camera and the all the equipment to shoot the “film, ” is next level cheesy and cliche. It’s called, “Mad How Life Works.” Let me guess…throughout the film, nothing goes as planned for the characters and they end up in a bunch of zany situations with coincidences! For most of the film they’re frustrated bc nothing turns out like they wanted it to, and they think life is unfair, but in the last 5 minutes they realize they didn’t get what they wanted, they got what they needed, all along. They then realize that life is a wonderful amalgam of crazy and unexpected situations and become much more appreciative of what they have. And they never expected to come to this conclusion! Mad how life works…🤮
