WORKED IMMEDIATELY. Thanks a lot dude!

Easy and to the point, great video.

Update: Couldn't connect at all on Dark Souls II for multiplayer, within 10 minutes of doing this I was getting summons.

Just did this on my router it worked - minus port 53 and minus port 80! Said it would cause an error with my cable box so I didn't add those. Still got an open NAT!

WORKS WORKS WORKS, if your having trouble with UpNp and NAT Type being strict, try to learn the interface of the website, and copy this chart carefully. This is one of the only vids that actually works

This didn't help me for the problem I was having but it did help with some lag. My nat type said open before this and still open after but it improved some in latency. I was trying to see if this fixed an issue with resident evil 6. RE6 keeps crashing whenever I try to play online. Ooh well... Guess I have to wait on the devs response. It's interesting that you gave all the ports that Xbox one uses. Very cool. You made it very simple. Thanks.

Thank you for clearing this up for me. Dug threw service pages for the last few hours and got everything I needed just didnt know how to set them. This the first time I've ever had at&t. Thank you.

It worked great. It was a little vague for me, but I'd rather have that than some over-worded explanation. Thanks, man!

Thank you dude worked for me as of 08/25/20. Don't know why you have to go through this to play games... But thank you. (Not all hero's wear capes!)

As of today(09/14/17), you go to home(not device ), scroll to bottom and find your device(in my case an xbox one) from the device list at the bottom of the home page.

After you find your device, go to the right and click "details"

Go to ip address and copy ip address at the second column down on the right side(just the numbers that look like this "444.333.2.11"

Copy this.

Then go to firewall, then click "applications, pinholes, and DMZ"

Under the "select a computer" area you will see at the bottom of the list "Enter IP Address" with a computer symbol next to it; paste the IP address you just copied from the device list on the home page.

Go to option 2(labeled "edit firewall settings for this computer" ; click "allow individual applications"

Next, go just below this where you will see options that start with "All Applications, games, audio, ...etc"

Scroll all the way down to your device(in my case it is "Xbox One" at the bottom of the list)

Click "add" (the application you just clicked to highlight)

After you get the confirmation at the top, go down to the very bottom of the page and click "save"(it is on the bottom right)

Next, go to the xbox one, go to settings, go to network settings, go to advanced settings, go to alternate mac address, click "Clear"

The xbox one should then ask you if you want to restart; restart the xbox

after you restart, go back to your xbox one network settings and check the nat type..it should be open (ive been trying for about 3 hours now to watch all these videos and figure out what the heck to do as of 09/14/2017, and after trial and error this is what just worked!

I don't understand what you're doing with the numbers under global port range and base host port. How did you get 53 in your example?
