【 Pregnant Guppy Signs of Delivery 】
Different fish have different personalities, and not every female guppy will show the same signs she's ready for the delivery. Watching for the following clues can help you know when the time for birth is drawing near:

1) Boxy, squared-off look to the female's abdomen.

2) The gravid spot is very dark maroon or black.

3) She grows still in the tank or seeks a place to hide.

4) Change in eating habits, such as refusing to eat or spitting food out.

5) Shivering or shuddering motions during contractions.

6) Increasingly rapid breathing.

I've decided to raise guppies in my 15g fluval flex. I've ordered a breeder box. So do you just choose a male and female and put them in the box then remove them once you have fry and keep them in there until they're big enough not to get eaten?

Everybody’s probably wondering why are you keeping the mother from its own babies? This is because fish do not get attached to their babies like humans do so they eat them. Many of you guys may think that this is cannibalism, but it is not. This is just how some fish get their energy.

I’m really scared for my guppy as she is heavily pregnant and has been slowing her moment down allot and won’t eat or anything and barely swims I looked it up and researched it and it seems she’s ready to give birth but it looks as if she is struggling allot
