Guppy struggle to give birth and dies with the frys

Guppies help control mosquito populations by eating larvae, which means guppies have probably saved many human lives from mosquito related diseases.

But you could’ve remove the tissue which is very thin and transparent around the fry using a sharp pin. Be careful not to prick the fry’s tail or the bag which hangs in its tummy. You can easily do by pricking the gap between the tail and the head. I saved more than 10 doing that. The babies are alive and can’t move because of the tissue around them. It will take a lot of time to do. But can survive. ❤

I had this happened but she showed no signs of birth but I came home one weekend and she was dead and I saw 2 fry swimming but when I went to do a water change a few days later I can see all the embryos that didn’t make it and then 1 of the 2 fry’s that survived I had for about a year before she passed. The circle of life, and it keeps on moving…

Mine just gave birth to around 30 babies and the mom & babies are all ok... 🥰🥰 and i came here to search about the babies food 🤭😌

Even yesterday i thought to change the dirt water because of that pregnant mother.. (Thinking maybe anytime she can be delivered... And i changed water at 6:00 pm.) When i went to feed her in the moring i see a lot of babies in the water...🥰🥰 i am so happy today that the babies are in good water and clean environment...and maybe that made them to be healthy....🥰🥰

Most happiest & proud part is that, i am having those guppy fishes for the first time in my life and that one had delivered around 30 beautiful babies made me the happiest 🥰🤭 (i feel like i am the mother of them 🥰❤️)

The comments giving advice when they don’t even know that guppies are live bearers (they give birth to live fry which can swim after they are born) is kinda sad considering some unfortunate beginners will take they’re advice

Guppies don't lay eggs. When a guppy gives birth, frys start swimming. The second fish was a different type.

Sad this happened to by Showa cross, but thankfully, she provided a boat load of guppies 30+ before she died while she was on her second pregnancy. Now I'm onto my 2nd generation with her brood, and they are looking good.

Debes pasarlos a un acuario hospital y añadir sal para acuario, 2 cucharadas por galón, cambios de agua cada 2 días, por un periodo de 15 días, debes reiniciar la pecera por qué los hongos y bacterias se depositan en el sustrato y plantas y es muy difícil de tratar, si pones los peces así se vuelven a enfermar, a mi ya me pasó, mucha suerte, saludos desde Colombia

Reason why i dont see a single guppy fry in my aquarium because the guppies ate them so i separated my female guppy when she's about to give birth i feed her is that okie???

If you have a female guppy that's about to give birth and struggling here's a tip squeeze them softly so you cannot break the slime coat then put slime coat healer if you affect.

The mom prolly died on her own, fish swimming like the mom are almost always dying. All he probably did was cut the dead mother's stomach in a last attempt to save the fry
