Another informative video. Personally I use furmark to stress test (10 minutes minimum, but I try for 30 minutes when possible), then I use unigine heaven afterwards to get the actual performance and then I will install it and overclock if desired/needed. The new Adrenaline software from AMD (the current driver package) will allow you to overclock AMD GPUs and allows a overlay without the need for MSI Afterburner and Riva).

Thanks for the vid man. Tested my used GPU on these. However, i was getting worse performance, decided to refund. Then suddenly found out that i was placing the GPU on 2nd&3rd pcie slot. Switched my GPU to 16x pcie 3.0 slot 1 and GPU began performing as it should

I've found a used RTX 3070 locally for $400 which sounds like a great deal.The only thing that worries me is the screw tamper seal being broken, i've asked the seller why he opened the card and he told me that he did that in order to change the thermal paste and get better temps.
But i'm afraid he might have reballed/reflowed it, is furmark for like 30 minutes enough to tell if the card was messed with or i do i need to open it and inspect the pcb?

Hey, I got a question.
So, I mishandled my 3080 in two ways. First thing I did wrong was not inserting it into the pcie slot properly and then then turning on the pc. The second thing is that I unplugged one of the 3 pcie connectors while the pc was shut down, but the power supply was switched on, then proceeded to plug it back in. It seems to be working fine though. My question is will following this video help me confirm it's functioning properly or will I have to do further testing?

I've bought a Quadro K600 for my Lenovo M72e. Popped that card in, and it worked for about 10 minutes, then the computer froze. Tried to turn it off and on again, but the computer refuses to turn on. Fans would spin slowly for a sec, and then nada. Tried taking out the graphics card, and same thing. It looks like that graphics card fried the motherboard.

Tried it on an Optiplex 330 that I could care less about, and graphics card still worked, and didn't fry anything this time.

Now that card lives on an HP 6300 that replaced that Lenovo, and so far, knock on wood. It still works even a week after.

So, sometimes it's just luck.

Hey, thanks for this video. I was wondering if I could get the links to download this? My friend has a pc that seems to only work with applications/games that launch automatically when the pc starts (sorry I’m not too technical) if he tries to open an application/game by clicking on it (without it booting up on login) it won’t respond and most the time crashes his whole pc. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Imo, don’t ever use Furkmark, unless you suspect a card might be bad, so testing one before buying it might actually be a good idea, but personally I wouldn’t run it for very long normally. Bashing your card with 1000 FPS is not normal use, it’s beating the crap out of it.

I just bought a used rx 570, while I was playing my pc froze and the only way to get the computer working again is to do a manual restart by pressing the power button, what seems to be the problem? Cpu, gpu passed the stress tests and hdd health are good, Help me please

Hey, question im having this issue where my screen goes pink only when i change something within the settings of a game on the xbox app. I don’t get this problem on steam or any other game. I just reset my drivers and the pink screen goes away, it just gets annoying. What can i do? Is it an xbox issue or drivers? I download drivers from the geforce app.
