How to test out a used Ipad before you buy

In this video I show you what to test before you buy a used Ipad. This is mainly for if you're buying an Ipad from a private seller locally like Craigslist, Offerup and other platforms as you will be able to test it our before you buy. You should test out the Ipad before you buy as there can be issues. To be sure you should restart the device and do the test again to be sure it works fine.

i will add some things
google white wallpaper and look at the screen that its normal and doesnt have any damage and also check out all edges of the screen like holding the app and moving it all around the corners so u will see that touch screen is alright

I bought a used ipad air 2 through amazon. The first thing i did besides checking the exterior is to play a 10 hour youtube vid with full bright with a 100% percent battery and see after how long my pad turn off

You didn't say how to avoid a stolen iPad. My suggestion is say you need both the manual and box. Maybe an honest seller wouldn't keep the box, but they should have the manual.

Thank you for the info. I’m about to buy one from a local pawn shop. So the shop owner said no iCloud is linked to the device and it is signed out, but how do I know if find my device isn’t turned on?

I bought some used ipads at Salvation Army thrift stores they been checked for find my iPhone/ipad before paying they were clean

Hi. I bought an iPad from a pawnshop to use for my school ebooks. It’s signed out of iCloud and has been reset by the shop owner but I noticed that it had cellular signal too. He said it came back clear. Now, I only wanted WiFi but since it has cellular, how would I know that it won’t get blocked in the future? It’s a newer iPad that’s why I ask
