PIXAR I NEED TO SAY THIS TO YOU
I just watched the movie "Turning Red" and I thank you, Domee Shi, and EVERYONE else who worked on this movie.
I cried during this movie. I cried over the friends Mei has, over Mei's FAMILY, and I really love this movie down to my heart. As a teenager myself, things are very complicated to put into words or maybe even thoughts (this comment included) and this movie is one of the only movies which has made me so emotional- SO INSPIRED to do something out of my own comfort zone. I sometimes feel the way Mei does and I am certainly NOT perfect. I barely have any words to describe how much love I have for this movie, this movie is AMAZING in EVERY way.

The way tears build up in her eyes towards the end when she says "Maybe". I feel so bad for her, it's good she's got the friends she has ngl

I'll admit: I judged a book by its cover. I didn't think much of it when the trailer came out but after watching it yesterday, it was great! Highly recommend it and good for Disney/Pixar for only showing scenes from earlier in the movie during the trailer. I can see why they did that now.

That movie was pretty good, I almost felt like crying during Mei and her mom’s final ritual, but I’m glad Mei stood up for herself and figuring out who she is, after all, it is part of growing up.❤️🐼❤️🐼❤️🐼❤️🐼
