After this I watched the extended version of the video that also included the previous generation clubman, which I bought in 2011.

Those robots are amazing. Do you realize the precision of the repeatability that goes on? Not to mention the software programming that goes in to each and every function each robot does. I can sit and watch this kind of shit all day long. Before they build the cars, they have to build the tools that build the cars. Truely amazing.

Just incredible how many cars they can produce every day.
Designing and programming those robots must be a real art. I wonder how reliable they are and how they schedule maintenance of them?
Ps, watch the Chemical Brothers - Believe video. Fantastic comparison of these robots.

great original design. small on the outside. big on the inside. first FWD transverse motor. but reliability today I read is a problem. ps. do robots buy cars?

Tesla, is eliminating six hundred robots with the implementation of the front and rear Model Y castings… can you imaging what that could do for mini?! To think any company could buy one of these casting machines from IDRA, but they have not…
