Reading Update for 2025

Hey Sue! So good to see you. I already had Welcome Home to Murder on my Kindle, but I _had to_ put The Shape of Darkness on my Kindle Wishlist. Probably gonna grab The Bookseller's Tale, too because it's free. 🤓 I'm participating in the Holmes is Where the Heart Is readathon, so that's what I'm reading this month. 📚 Thanks so much for sharing.

Nice to see you again, Sue! Glad you got to catch up with friends - always fun. The Shape of Darkness sounds great. A Medieval mystery sounds like an interesting premise - too bad the execution wasn't great. I've been meaning to read 1Q84 or some other Murakami novel. I like the parallel universe premise. I haven't read anything by Darcy Coates, but that sounded intriguing. Enjoy your books!

I’ve just borrowed from the library The City and its Uncertain Walls by Murakami. It’s my first Murakami but it sounds interesting. However I’m also reading The Children’s Book by A.S. Byatt for the library book group. It’s 615 pages of tiny print, so I haven’t started the Murakami yet. The Byatt is good though, very immersive but slow going.

I am reading Physical Copy - Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros.

Both of these are good.
