Next week, if all goes well, well hop back in time a couple weeks and continue the trip through Wyoming ... BUT... the town we are from (and currently visiting) has been beset by horrible raging fires and despite living in a city, we forced to evacuate rapidly.

** Aerial Footage Provided by Jackson County (Oregon), the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, and Brim Aviation. **

I am happy you two are safe and doing okay. The enormity and magnitude of all these fires in Oregon, Washington and California is just incomprehensible. The loss of homes, business and whole neighborhoods is just unfathomable and extremely heartbreaking. They have finally gotten control of the bay area fires, but you wouldn't think so if you look outside, and some new fires have broken out in the Sierras this week. 2020 is a year that is really testing what people are made of and I have seen a lot of good come out people coming together to help there neighbors, but like everyone else feels, its time for all the bad things to stop. Its videos like this that point out the most important things in life, each other. Without our families and friends nothing else matters. So stay safe my friends.

I live on the Oregon coast, I used to live in Phoenix, OR some years ago. One of my cousins lost their house, and my friends apartment complex burnt down on Cheryl LN. I'm a long haul driver so I'm currently a long ways a way, sitting here in Milan, NM at a truck stop for the night. The sky has been grey all they way over here from Phoenix, AZ all smoke. On my way over to Wichita Falls, TX to get a load. Gonna keep an eye on the sky and see how for the smoke reaches tomorrow. This is definitely gonna be a year for the history books.. And we're just getting into the peak of hurricane season too.

Wow--I'm glad to see that the two of you are safe and healthy. The fires in the west are horrible, but hopefully our firefighters will be able to get them under control. Wishing the two of you well! Great work with maintaining a positive attitude. New friend here.

shit guys that fire looks like the end of the world...
I would hate to be told to take what you can and leave 🙈😥
you guys dealt with it very well! Can't believe 2 hrs of driving didn't get you away from the smoke 😮
Sorry to hear about your friends losing houses in the fire...😥 seemed like thousands of homes are lost just in that short video.
Glad you had friends to go visit and be around. Han and I are thankful you and your friends are safe, fingers crossed that your storage unit wasn't hit by it.💓💓
take care guys from Australia

Gotta be honest, I have never watched your channel, but this video really rubbed me the wrong way. Came off very tone deaf and little too upbeat. I understand you are trying to be positive, but it would appear you do not live in the Rogue Valley anymore based off the above caption on your Blog. All of my family was affected by this fire, several lost their homes completely and others are dealing with the aftermath of having to live in a town that is almost 60% gone, even though thankfully, their place is still standing. But imagine having to live in that city and seeing the devastation only a block away from your home every single day moving forward. Seems all comments on here are supporting you, but sadly, this just really frustrated me watching this. Maybe keep in mind that so many have lost so much and yes, you stated a lot of your friends have as well, so maybe understand how the tone of your video doesn't fit the severity of what actually happened there.
