Pastor Jeff shares about the intensity from the days surrounding the Almeda Fire and how they are helping in the recovery and sharing the gospel with the community.

In their school district, FBC Medford was able to fulfill a great need for coats. As people were fleeing from the fire and rushing to grab essential items, some things were left behind which left children without coats as the weather began to cool. This was only possible because of the generous gifts that poured in from different churches and individuals.

FBC asked for prayer surrounding the opportunities they have to build relationships and share the gospel with the people who have needed to move into RVs and campers located near park hookups. The main residential area that was completely destroyed by the Almeda Fire was the low-income and affordable housing. This puts their community in an interesting position as decisions are still being made moving forward with building.

First Baptist Church of Medford is working with Calvary Crossroads in Grants Pass in the efforts that are involved with recovering from a devastating fire. Although months have passed, there are still steps that need to be taken to recover from the fire.
