Very cool, what’s always on my mind everything in the universe has to be bigger and older than anything we can imagine because just how much material makes it up.

J0947+1338 is the largest radio galaxy with a size of 18, 917, 070 light years across, and SDSS J081956.41+323537.6 with a size of 16, 500, 000 light years across is larger than Alcyoneus. The largest non-radio galaxy is ESO 298-17 with a size of 8, 842, 000 light years across, also the smallest galaxy is the ultracompact dwarf galaxy, M85-HCC1 with a size of 12 light years across.
ESO 298-17's size is likely spurious.
The largest radio galaxy is now Porphyrion which 22, 800, 000 light years across.
