I found a fix! None of these worked for me. I went into my voice notes to test out the the mic. Sounded muffled and there was white noise in the back. I went into my settings > accessibility > audio/visual (under hearing) > turn off phone noise cancellation. Went back into the voice notes app to test it and it was super clear! Hope this helps someone

Thank youuu! The microphone didn’t work for calls but worked for Instagram voices notes, so I was sure that the microphone wasn’t the problem. Now with configuration work perfectly for calls🤩🤩🤩 Thanksss

None of the ideas you worked for me either but what I did to test it was to try using hey Siri but nothing happened then I put the Aurora back in the case. Then I said hey Siri again while AirPods were in the case and while Siri was answering, I put the AirPods back into my ears then I said hey Siri again and they worked. I went away from my phone a said very quiet hey Siri call my wife and it worked. She could hear me well.
