I always thought that the red coloring was supposed to represent blood as if the animal was just feeding.

Thanks for your comments, just been working on an Indian cousin of Carnotaurus called Rajasaurus (Prince Lizard) - you are right Carnotaurus and the rest of the Abelisaurids are a really interesting dinosaur group.

The Carnotaurus model measures 25cm long and stands 15cm high, the Papo T. rex is slightly taller and measures 26cm in length, but tail on this model is considerably curled round so if it was stretched out it would be much bigger. The Papo T. rex is understandably much more robust than the Carnotaurus. However, please note, C. sastrei is only known from one specimen so the true size of this predator is not certain. Perhaps Carnotarus up to 30 feet in length?
