We run a small company called Everything Dinosaur, we are based in the UK and we work just on prehistoric animals, so its a great job if you like dinosaurs. The short arms were also perfect for the mother Carnotaurus to gently dig out her babies just coming out of the eggs without harming them, which would be step on if she used the claws on her big feet. Mother Carnotaurus builds a nest mound just as big as her than lays the eggs near the top so she can reach them with her arms, & too high for egg thieving mammals to have easy access to them. To the little babies mom's tiny arms appear less threatening than her jaws so they know she's safe.

i looked at a bunch of you're revieuws and i must say i am really impressed with you're knowledge of the dinosaurs and a skilled speech.i must say after seeing all of this i wonder if you can post a video of you're intire collection, it must e really amazing.thx in advance and keep up the good work.

Great review by the way Carnotaurus is 1 of my favorite carnivorous dinosaurs, Schleich's model looks even better than Papo's.

Why do paleontologists always presume that everything the carnivorous dinosaur does has to do with hunting, there's more to these dinosaur lives than that, the tiny arms were useless for hunting, but perfect for mating as the male could use them to cling on the larger female's back to prevent him from falling, the female's armor on her back prevents her from getting injured by the male's front claws.
