In my opinion we should be able to vote on each episode score while it release, and only be able to vote for the overall season when it had finished releasing. They should be separate notes as each episode can not be as interesting but the overall series be great

I do agree they should hide scores on new anime. They shouldn't even be on the list.

This way we can get more honest reviews. Because review bombing can go both ways.

Every season theres a new anime that occupies the first spot for a while. I doubt that every season theres a best anime of all time. But for some reason people like to spam 10/10 reviews.

Waiting till the anime finnishes its season will give time for the score to ballance.

some anime looks at their animes popularity and decides if they are gonna make a another season or not and my guess for the decline of the hundreds of anime that i watched and loved that did not make a season 2 might be because of this

MAL should have two rating boards.

A true one, where the ratings are not revealed until a good month or so after the final episode, to get all of the scores in, to then have the score frozen. Then a secondary one that is left up where people can vote how they want to.

Either that, or they should fix this by getting rid of most of the 1* ratings by finding an average and then assigning said percentage to the 1*. Or if people get round this ny using 2 star ratings, then they should do the same thing. It shouldn't be too hard to fix irregularities like this that are made just to get FMA back to number 1.

Ok. I'm not on twitter or anything other than facebook so I need someone to explain this to me. How exactly is this FMAB fans fault? Like I get scores dip as the season goes on and more people check it out and vote. But I'm not seeing evidence presented showing it's FMAB fans that are responsible for those 1s other than the screenshots of people's comments accusing them

Tbf that Oshi anime is kinda like that type of one hit wonder in that one eps, other eps is mehh and basically slice of life

Turning our hype to the max it's kinda dangerous because it will just gonna become blunt later because of denouement that is necessary for next arch. This is what happened to Oshi no Ko. People just realized that they love this Anime for just one episode and the next few just suddenly become normal. It just regain it's dignity from Akane's but next episode is another denouement so it will gonna affect its whole rating for a necessarily blunt episode.

For me Oshi no ko isnt really interesting after ai hoshino death tho, its just simply become regular slice of life, so yeah nothing really sspeecial about it

So this is how it goes. As the anime becomes more popular, it gets more views and more mixed reviews. That's why the ratings decline as time passes by. But so many 1s, yeah I'm sure it's cuz of jealous fmab fans. And yes, FMAB ISNT THE BEST ANIME OUT THERE. IT WAS A SOLID 7-8 FOR ME

Could just be most new anime sucks as their cliches have been done before XD unless we are talking about rurounni Ken.. inuyasha, or one peace their animation doesn’t hold up.
