Just on the 29th of July I once again had the honor to go see Roger boy oh boy if only one could actually meet this amazing man who not only has done his best via music as well as speaking at the UN to tell the world that we need to leave the bs and unite for one cause: humanity. OH yeah.... I have been a fan for years. When The Wall Concert in Berlin happen, I wanted so much to go.... but a poor starving student and now a poor adult does what one best can.
This time I took my seventeen year old son to see one of the greats who has had a part in influencing me but also my son. Years back, I played on the tv the cd from The Wall. I don't know if you all know but in that cd there is video of people actually running for their life as the wall was being built. I explained the meaning of that to him and I know it impacted him. He has since those early years of his life dedicated much of his time to learn world geography as well as history. He has also made a point to learn the federalist papers and the USA constitution. He is a bright kind young man who tells me he is interested in diplomacy. I honestly believe that he will be a leader and not an f ing one as Roger tells of some we have today.
We got your cd at the arena and in the car as we played it... he asked how could I know the words of songs that, well are brand new.... I smiled and said: I have been following Roger Waters a long time.
I don't know if anyone can pass this on to Roger, but if you can, please do. Roger you have directly impacted my son and this is a precious gift. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to take him to your concert. I only wish he could meet you some, someday....

Time heals wounds I guess :) By that I mean he is enjoying touring and playing big arenas again compared to the late 70s, which is great to see!
