I just went through several recordings of that song. Trying to compare Gilmour and Waters performance. I don't have anything against Waters stupid political statements or whatsoever but the way he just ignored the greatest guitar solo in rock music history and seeking attention from crowd during the solo, is just lame. If you watch Gilmour performance, the whole band enjoying the solo, the looks and smiles on Gilmour's band members faces telling it all. So Waters is a good musician and songwriter, doing his performance with some random musicians and Gilmour is the legend, flying high on stratosphere and not need to watch down. Thank God they both alive and still performing.
