My father, who was an ecologist, always rejected AIT vigorously. I wrote in my school history class test accordingly and got a big zero. My mother, who was a physics teacher, scolded my father. My father met my history teacher. After listening to my father's arguments patiently, my history teacher agreed with my father about AIT but said that unless I write what was written in the history books, he was unable to give me any marks. My father told me that for examination purpose I should write what was written in the history books but at heart I should know that AIT was false.

History is not my subject. But I do believe that when the British propped up this theory to justify themselves in India. People came before us so, accept us also. Indus Valley civilization was the largest settlement, there was no way a bunch of nomads came a stamped their language, culture, and religious doctrine on the large settlements and people accepted it without any fight. It's simply a ridiculous proposition. If people outside India find any similarities between Indian languages or customs then most likely it went out of India.

Thanks Rajeev Ji for bringing the most important topic of AIT which has distorted our identity. What is preventing us to declare AIT dead ? My book Archaeometallurgy of India from Rigveda to Valmiki Ramyayana recently published by IIT Roorkee provides metal evidence that proves that Vedic Civilization was far more ancient than the Indus Valley Civilization . The metal evidence presented in our work has the potential to put the final nail in the coffin of the Aryan Invasion Theory.
