A) "No, I'm not the face of the NBA. I don't want to be. KD will be there after LeBron, or Harden, somebody will be there to be... I don't want to be the face of the NBA, I want to do my job and go back home every day. I want to be with my kids and my family. I care about playing, winning, and having a good time, I don't care about being the face of the NBA, and maybe I can't be the face of the NBA, I care about being Giannis that works hard"
B) "Koby helped me so much, he made me believe I can reach my dreams. If he believes in me, I don't need anyone else to. Is that simple."
Γ) "Being an NBA Champion is 'an addictive feeling', Ι can't describe it! But the best feeling I ever felt up 'til now is becoming a father. [...] I don't know if we'll ever win another championship, what I know is that tomorrow I'll wake up and go to the stadium to practice. Thanasis too. ('Tomorrow (already)?!' asked an interviewer). Yes tomorrow! Maybe today too, I'll go and do weight practice -will help with the jetlag" (everybody laughs).
Δ) "I keep on working hard no matter what they say to me. Eighter good or bad, I keep working on everything; At free throws, shooting... I know I work, (that) I do whatever needs to be done. Is not that I'm pleased but I'm ok with that [...] I'm a human, I make mistakes, but I'm good with who I am because I know that I work as hard as I can. I do tell it myself, I not got at free throws (he then speaks in English: I'm secure in who I am), but I need to keep working, I want to be better, I think I have a lot more to give, I'm only 26. I want to be better at dribbling, posting, my shooting... Heads down and keep working, this is who I am, I can only be me.
THANASIS:
...reporter asked about how they stay so positive, never got angry or bitter, and always kept on smiling, and on top of that, they stay hungry and keep working hard. Thanasis said it's all because of the lady in the front row (their mother that was with 'em) and the way the parents grew them up, working hard and never complaining through all the difficulties. And then said about the free throws:
"When you (grow up and) don't have food on the table, after that, not scoring a free throw doesn't seem that big; you missed it, you're gonna get it next day. You are gonna make it when it matters, and (to Giannis) you did (everybody laughs)"

What's more, Giannis speaks and sounds completely perfect in Greek. Despite the fact that he is in the States for so many years by now.
Giannis, by the way, speaks only Greek (mother language) and English. Not Nigerian. Not Yoruba (his father's Nigerian language), not Igbo (his mother's Nigerian Language).
