You need a fibroid scan in order to track cirrhosis. All scans can perhaps have bad effects.

All my blood test (ALT, AST, Bilirubin, Albumin, Sodium, Creatinine) are all perfect, but I was diagnosed with S3 F3 severe fibrosis……can the Fibroscan be inaccurate? I’m technically obese (muscular but do have some fat), and I also have a 6cm benign hemangioma mass in my liver. I do have some liver area pain when I have a big or rich meal but other than that I have no symptoms. Never been an alcoholic and rarely drink. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

There is one part of my 6/7/24 FibroScan that I don't understand, Dr. Risinger. CAP score of 305 and a Fibrosis score of 5.9. The conclusion by the doctor who read my images was F0-1 zero to mild fibrosis (which I agree with) and mild hepatic steatosis (which I don't agree with). A CAP score of 305 is steatosis grade S3, severe fatty liver with more than 2/3 of my liver having fatty change. I've called the doctor to question how he reached his conclusion and he won't talk to me about it, said I'm not his patient, he just interpreted the results. What do you think? Do I have mild fatty liver or severe fatty liver?

But is the fibroscan test reliable though? My blood test shows an elevated ALK and I experience pain in my upper right stomach area but the fibroscan resulted showed a mean score of 207 and a median score of 4.1 which is normal. However, this doesn't add up as I have been experiencing pain and elevated ALK P blood test results for 3 years now (bone disease has been ruled out). One explanation could be that the technician sticks the instrument to my side but the pain that I experience is at the top right upper stomach area and could possibly explain why my fibroscan results come back normal as this painful area is left out?

My doctor told me that only thing what can damage your liver is alcohol or misuse of certain medicines.

They didn’t use the XL PIN ON ME . Even after the machine kept saying to use it . I gave a body mass of 40 . Those bastard
