It is a Scott Spark copy for sure, from a reputable chinese brand doesn't mean it is bad quality! I bet it performs and last same as the real deal! Cheers!

I have a Trifox carbon hardtail that cracked on the drive side chain stay. I contacted Trifox and they asked for photos. I sent them the photos they asked for and they replaced my frame. So they do back up their products.

Good video!! I've been using Chinese frames for a while, I've never had any problems, here in Brazil it's an excellent option

Trifox seem to be a fairly reputable Chinese brand from all accounts

It’s also the supplier for American Eagle bikes, the Flow model. Great frame! Nice build.

My be that it IS the Scott Spark. wouldnt surprise me if the factory had a contract to build the frame for them. Nice vids btw :-) Appreciate you sharing your experiences.

Most of the big name bikes are made in china.

I think that bike is more classified as a “trail” bike. It has a slacker head tube, typically 120-130mm of travel, and is targeted for fun and playful trail riding. XC bikes typically have a steep head tube angle, 100mm of travel, and is targeted to XC racing.

98% of people who say they ride XC are actually doing trail riding and would be better suited with a trail bike. I’ve seen your riding on the channel and your definitely more of a trail rider than XC racer. This bike suits your riding style better.

Really nice bike.

I am totally impressed about that carbon Chinese frame, I have a Scott spark and the frame and geometry are identical (except the price of course)…. Your bike looks amazing……
Great videos bro…..

Rumor is that some of those China carbon factories that produce major brands (like Scott) secretly use the same molds to produce off market frames they sell out the back door without permission of the major brand. Or that when a major brand shift’s manufacturer plants the old plant keeps the mold and continues to produce the frame as an off brand.

This frame could possibly be from a Scott spark mold but produced and sold as a grey market off brand.

yo dawg, you're good. People are haterz but you really can't find significant amounts of cracked chinese bikes anymore than production MTB. I've been riding mine for almost a year and I've gone through wheels, cranks, and tires, but the frame is rock solid. Keep on keepin on dude!

I’ve heard from someone that big bike companies buys the design from bike manufacturers and brand it as their own. This saves them the r&d and earns tons of money. That may be a scott spark.

Ninety-five percent of all carbon MTB frames are made in China and/or other Asian variants. And all carbon frames can crack...not matter the brand. If you have the build and maintenance skills there really isn’t a down side to buying an off brand frame.

So I bought the same wheelset (think I mentioned that I got the same problem with the hubs as you did). Recently, JGBike has made a new hubset and it's an exact fit for that wheelset. Had my LBS check it out and we were pretty impressed with how smooth the bearings are and how good the engagement is. Still within my first 100mi so only time and trails will tell how good it is over time. But if you can, look it up. Very nice and cost effective hubs for those WTB rims. 6 pawls, 104 engagement.

I agree that everything breaks... even your heart. lol😂 kiddin! hahaa. anyway, Chinese carbon brands seem to progress just like Trifox, Ican Bikes and Lexon. Saw plenty of good reviews from forums, aliexpress and alibaba that they provide promising bike experience. I've heard that they actually produce frames/parts too for other brands. Nice update on your mfm100 trifox, looking forward to see more of this on trails :)

I'm sure they are the factory that builds the Scott Spark. It's a very nice bike.
