Bob will be going over the comparisons between the Getac S410 and the Panasonic Toughbook CF-54. Both units have similar specifications. The CF-54 has the difference of having the webcam already installed, at least on this particular model. Whereas, the S410 does not have one already installed, although it is an option that you can get. The touchpad size on these two units is about the same. Bob prefers the CF-54 keyboard; he thinks that the CF-54 keyboard is more robust compared to the Getac keyboard. Moving on to the handle, Bob still prefers the Getac's handle over the Toughbook's handle. He likes the flex that the handle has to it on the S410 and it feels like it would be much more comfortable to carry. On the other hand, the Panasonic which is just a piece of metal, or plastic that is ridged and doesn't offer too much play. The S410 also has programmable buttons, a P1, a P2, and a power button. This tablet also comes with 4 USB ports. Meanwhile, the Panasonic CF-54 only has 3 USDs and no programmable buttons. The Getac looks more rugged than the CF-54 but the CF-54 has a higher IP rating than the Getac. They both have dock boards on the bottom, you can easily remove the hard drive and battery in both units, they weigh about the same, and they have the same amount of battery life. One of the better things about the Getac is that it has rubber corner bumpers on the bottom that act as feet that the unit has to sit on. They are nice because they won't fall off because they are screwed on making them a part of the laptop, helping it sit flat on the desk. Compared to the Toughbook which just has these little rubber feet that are actually glued onto the laptop. These are not as big or as good of quality as the Panasonic Toughbook. Overall, Bob prefers the S410 to the Panasonic Toughbook CF-54.
