What's the best book you've read last month?

I think you should put the shelves you've read from back in the jar. If you get that shelf again, it would give you a chance to finish the books you started, if you hadn't finished them yet.

I think it was a great challenge, but I can imagine that it would be a little overwhelming after a month! I would suggest that you leave the already read shelves out and try to read from most of the rest.

The shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón best book about books I've ever read!

The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman!!!! Is a series of books, I think there's five or six books released, and they're so cozy and so good to read, there are libraries, magic, investigations, dragons, parallel universes, magic wars, and a very funny ironic empowered woman protagonist, and almost no romance at all, I really recommend!!!

The author of The Three Body Problem is a proper scientist. And having read both the Chinese and English versions of many sci-fi stories by the same translator (Ken Liu), I can say he’s truly amazing.

For the "One Week, One Shelf" Challenge, should I put the shelves back into the jar or wait until I've read from most of them first?

I would recommend the Divine Cities Trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennett. Book 1 is City of Stairs

Frankenstein is one of my all time favourite books. I'm a huge fan of Wuthering Heights too. I clearly love Gothic fiction.

I think it would be fun to do a challenge finishing the books you started in this one! Like a pile of shame challenge edition. I numbered my shelves and I’m doing my own shelf challenge. Great idea!

I would try to go through each shelf once, then put the ones you would like to revisit back and pull from those.

Have you read the Invisible Library series by Genevieve Cogman? It's a fun urban fantasy series where there's a library that collects unique books from alternate worlds (so if there's a book that an author wrote in one world, but not another, they want a copy). There's also dragons and fae!

I would like to see you pick from different shelves, keeps it interesting! I say leave the ones out of the jar that you already did ☺️

I think you should choose ONE of the shelves you've already picked to put back in the jar and leave the others out.
I also think that if you ever do a full month of these again, you should only choose 3 shelves and the last week you just finish the books you liked but didn't have time to finish during those challenges.
But a whole month of this might be much. So maybe one week/month would be a nice balance. In which case, don't put the shelf back in the jar.

Ember Queen from Ash Princess trilogy was a great conclusion and best book of month that wasn’t a reread.

The Bookshop was good. It isn't about a library but it is about the love of books! The movie was good too.

I just finished The Dark Forest (Sequel to Three-Body problem) and it's amazing. You should definitely read it. It's longer but soooo much happens and it gets more philosophical than sciency

I had the same feeling concerning The Secret Commonwealth. It took me a while to finish it as well... I will obviously read the next book because... it's His Dark Materials world and I love it, but I really hope it will be less boring. I loved the TV series as well! 😊 My favorite book this month: I finished the comic book series Locke and Key and wow, this was amazing.

I really loved Frankenstein. I remember reading it in High School and loving it... Classics really are hit or miss though! I will have to pick up the Three Body Problem because I want to read more Sci-Fi
