This was supposed to be a three hour tour. The captain and Maryanne don't seem to care.

It's all fun and games until Mother Nature shows her ass.

I went through this in a 23, 000 ton in the North Atlantic. Sea and sky! People vomiting everywhere. Lying on the floors. We tried the cinema but no escape. No panic though, British ship! We passed over poor Titanic. Amazingly I still showed up in the dining room for the delicious food. A real experience. So glad to enter the St. Lawrence seaway and finally Montreal. We had stabilizers too!

Where were they going? Our cruise to Alaska one year was very rough. We went to the captains dinner and you couldn’t stand still the boat rocked and rocked and people slid on the floor but the amazing thing was it was a Greek captain, and he never lost his footing, I’ll never forget that as long as I live

I love it! In the Navy I was on a Destroyer. We'd call a day like this "Tuesday". We were like a cork in the waves at times. Green water over the ship's bridge, baby! Most everyone on board too sick to eat so I had plenty of whatever I wanted!

I've been on many cruises... this is extremely rare. I was also on a submarine... we would just go deep and avoid it.

Why anybody would pay to get on a ship, Have no control over their own safety, go out in the middle of the ocean, have a chance to drown, or be eaten by sharks without being paid is unfathomable.

I spent about 24 hours in rough seas once, in the Med, in a small Cruise Ship. You can't sleep, I had to shower kneeled, the bathtub spilled and flooded the whole bathroom, it's almost impossible to shave, all objects are falling constantly, you grab them, put them in place and they fall again and again until you give up... The whole ship squeaks, as if in pain. The swell was hitting our ship squarely sideways, therefore she didn't pitch at all but rolled A LOT. Every time a damn wave hit the hull, you heard and felt a that ressonated along the whole ship. It became quite scary, although the crew never made any public address. Sometimes it really felt as if she was going to capsize.
It quickly becomes exhausting and you find yourself cursing the moment you decided to go on that bloody Cruise. It's very much like enduring moderate turbulence for one full day. 🤬
How anyone can endure heavy seas for days or weeks without going nuts is beyond me! 🤯

Don't worry guys a ship in stormy sea is same like a plane in a turbulence.

Did this in the Navy on a LHA and it literally made you realize how small you really are in the middle of the pacific ocean and in a small cat 2 hurricane on West-PAC in 88..
