Maybe you could use a thin wooden board to cover up the drawers? But overall I love this project, it gives me a lot of inspiration. :D

ive been trying to do this with other modular desk cabinets and tops... or even building cabinets..do the feet of yours stick out the back of the desk ? so the desk top can't fit flush against the wall? it's out a few inches?
