The Chinese Embassy in Cairo has held a reception to mark the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return. Chinese Ambassador Song Ai Guo, foreign diplomats and Egyptian politicians attended the ceremony. The ambassador says Hong Kong has maintained its financial and economic position since its return to China. He's also noted that Hong Kong is a significant trade centre on the Silk Road initiative, a factor that could deliver major economic advantages.
