What’s happening in this movie clip?
Kai (Keanu Reeves) anonymously fights the Golem Samurai (Neil Fingleton), but when he is discovered, Mika (Ko Shibasaki) risks her life to protect him.

What’s the movie about?
A band of samurai wants revenge for the death and dishonor of their master, Lord Asano, who was wrongly accused and punished.

The golem was a contruct, so just like Kyle shaming Lord Asano in the eyes of the Shogun when uncovered because he isn't a samurai, Lord Kyra should have been dishonored as well. If he had won and killed Kyle, at some moment the Shogun would have requested it to remove the helmet to see the champion's face, moment that would reveal the truth because there was no head under, just a sorcery powered animated armor.

The only reason Keanu lost because he noticed that his enemy was a dog lover. His entire life was in peril so Keanu decided to lose.

the fight coreography is great, but the cuts took out the whole movement.

How’s that even a fair fight dudes 3 feet taller has better armor and is aloud to throw punches. I don’t understand how kai was even remotely supposed to beat this guy.
