Here we are with our lovely patient who traveled all the way from Arizona, seeking a refreshed appearance. After a three-year wait specifically for Dr. Bora Ok's expertise, we're confident the results are well worth the anticipation!

We're only on post-op day 6, and despite the considerable swelling, her transformation is already striking.

Her request was for a natural-looking nose that would complement her features, avoiding any drastic changes.

We always appreciate it when patients desire results that align with their natural aesthetic. Our philosophy is to enhance inherent beauty, not alter it to mimic an unattainable celebrity ideal that may not harmonize with their unique facial structure or skin type.

Particularly with ethnic rhinoplasty, where patients often have thicker skin, the challenges increase. Thick skin creates a heavier, more resistant skin envelope that may conceal delicate adjustments made during the procedure. This means the nuanced changes that would be apparent on someone with thinner skin might be almost hidden on those with a thicker skin. To overcome this, we must tailor our approach, amplifying the changes just enough so that they are evident, yet remain natural under the characteristics of a denser skin type.

For our patient, we sculpted a nose that looks inherently natural by augmenting the nasal bridge with rib cartilage, narrowing the nasal bones and refining the tip.

And the outcome speaks for itself— a happy patient means a happy surgeon!

Hello, I am looking into a mini vertical facelift. Something more on the natural side. Nothing too "snatched", as I'm worried about taking away from my natural aesthetic. I know that there are new techniques like Deep Planing and an SMASectomy.

The rhinoplasty surgeries are impeccable! I saw somewhere that you also practice in the States. Is that accurate?

I got a keloid from a navel ring. I was told that it was done incorrectly. But, nonetheless; I still dealt with a keloid as a result.

Should this be a determining factor when deciding to get surgery?
