GoPro Hero4 Session is Smaller, Lighter and WaterProof

GoPro has announced a new camera that is smaller and lighter than its earlier models.

This new cube-shaped GoPro Camera is named as Hero4 Session.

It is 50% smaller and 40% lighter than GoPro's HERO4 camera.

Hero4 Session is also waterproof up to 33 feet, eliminating the need for a separate case as in GoPro's previous models, though it's still compatible with a majority of GoPro's existing accessories

It was designed to be much more simple than other GoPros, with a single button that starts and stops recording. It’s also meant to mount on objects, like bicycle spokes, that are too small to hold current Hero4s. It works with all existing GoPro mounts.

It will not be having LCD screen. That means users will have to rely more heavily on either the GoPro mobile app or the Wi-fi smart remote

The battery is built directly into the camera and offers up to two hours of recording time on a full charge

It is Priced at around $400 and available throughout most of the world on July 12th.

The company hopes the Session’s smaller size and lighter weight will make it more attractive to many of the professional athletes

GoPro is using the tagline "So small. So stoked." for promoting the Hero4 Session camera.
