Beginning Programming w/ Just BASIC -- Tutorial 8: Sprites/Graphics (1/2)

If the program tries to end before a commend closing a window is given, it gives this error. Use "close #random" before the program exits.

Don't I have a tutorial that shows how to make them? If not, basically you have two images, one right on top of the other. The one on the top is called the "mask" and it is black with a white background. The black part is everything from the image below that you want to keep, so it basically outlines the shape of the sprite. And then the image below gives the detail. That allows background to be seen through the periphery of the sprite. That's the best I can explain it.

what is a mask in a sprite...is it necessary to make a mask to load the sprite into the programme?

Did you save it in the same folder as the .bas file?

well if u dont want to give me ur id...its OK....bt if u want plz give it...ok...anyway....i drew a ball in "paint"..i saved it as "ball.bmp"...i tried to load it in the program...but when i run it.. it says "ball.bmp" not found....now i dont know how to do it.. :(

haveing trouble of makeing the red ball

ummm...hi..recently..BASIC closed the #random(anything) handles...it says "#random is closed by BASIC.Usa appropriate CLOSE commands." plzzz help..
