Focus on Microsoft 365 to reduce costs

If your organization hasn't moved to Microsoft 365 E5 yet, expect Microsoft to encourage you to do so. While many are already on E5, those who aren't likely still use E3, hopefully with a mix of user types (F3, F1, maybe E1, consultants, etc.). You should already understand these users and their needs.

Dive deep into your usage data within Microsoft 365 to clearly see the last 12 months' activity. Carefully analyze who's using what software. It's common to find that companies were sold on E5 for everyone but didn't fully utilize its security features. In these cases, you can often downgrade many users to E3 or other options, saving significant costs.
