I remember when someone reporter guy come speaking to me and my father in Russian, my father just walked off and said in Mingrelian “he will speak to me in Mingrelian or go somewhere else” and honestly I’ve never seen so many Georgians willing speak Russian so fast without feeling annoyed

fun fact: most Georgian people answering Russian interviewers on the street are usually 'soft Georgians' (either apolytical or imvested too much into tourism/wine business to ruin their income by being hostile or even passively aggressive to Russians).another 40%-50%ish of Tbilisi's population would not ansaer either because they don't speak Russian well, or maybe do but they think ita wrong when a person in the incoming country is answering in his question and the Georgian is obliged to speak in that foreigner's language which is mostly more uncomfortable. that's why english is an equalizer (even if russian is widely understood her) - it'd be foreign language for both speakers

Even from this guy's traditional perspective @8:31 I think it's pretty impossible to argue that pedophilia and homosexuality are the same. He may consider both sins, but gay people that have consenting relationships with other adults of the same sex are not victimizing anyone. Adults are capable of consent and making their own choices, children are not. So if you're religious, you might think that a gay relationship would be two people engaging in sin together, willfully, but a pedophile having a "relationship" with a child would be one person engaging in sin to harm a defenseless victim. The second one is definitely far worse.

I never understood people that boast and brag that they "have gay friends". Just like that chick.
They're trying to make point that their thinking is more "advanced" than most.

So what you can learn from these videos is that Georgians love to speak in plural like we instead of I 🤣
