I bought mine a while ago and it was just fine you may need to calibrate the level or the accelerometer also tie a rope to the buoy so it doesn’t float a way to far

You said they sell remote controls for these. I might be interested in one as it'd most certainly be easier to control it while connecting it to something like a chrome book. Where can I get one?

Not sure why they can't put a screen over the motor grates? I get it that it might not provide as much water flow but still?? And most underwater cameras don't give as wide a field of view. It distorts more underwater and lets in less light so in dirty or night viewing you can't see as far even if you have lights on it.
