Seems that unit is mounted close to the ceiling. The ones I've seen recommend 6 inches clearance. Is that not necessary?

Are the communication wires uv resistant? About 2 feet will be exposed to the sun after exiting my lineset cover

Brazing definitely is more reliable, but it voids the warranty. I like to recommend access doors to my customers on the drywall, for "future maintenance". And by maintenance i mean when it inevitably leaks

I would never run the lines inside a finished wall.

I assume insulation and climate make a big difference in the btu size you'd recommend,
A 1500 foot well insulated and sealed unit in a milder climate would need a far smaller unit than a 500 sq foot shack in florida

If you have good clean flares and it is torqued to the manufacturer specification, the nuts will not back off.
The connections should be braised if they're in a wall and you cannot access them.

Are you braising to your king valves on a mini split?
No, you're using a flare nut and you're torquing it to the manufacturer specification.

The drain line should always go outside immediately straight out from evaporator there are numerous reasons for this.. .

Not suppose to braze those minisplits. If that’s Lennox the warranty is voided
