The stories you've been told are hiding more than a few key details. Real answers are worth fighting for... and boy, is this going to be a fight. Join Tyler in another journey across time and space to solve the greatest mysteries in fiction using real life science, math, philosophy, and source material! Hello, my Imaginary Friends! Tyler here with a quick addendum:
Some viewers have expressed concern to me that this video does not properly explain how Apokolips (Darkseid's planet) seems to exist both inside our universe and outside of our universe, depending on the story. This was something I promised to address in the closing part of my previous video, and although I did run out of time on this one, I feel like I provided you with the tools to uncover the answer for yourself. But for those of you who don't like guessing, here it is:
Darkseid's planet, Apokolips, exists _outside of reality_ just like he does! Meaning that it naturally emanates lesser copies of itself into lower realities just like everything else in his realm. The Apokolips you see _inside the universe_ is an emanation of true Apokolips just like each universe's Darkseid is an emanation of the true Darkseid! Cool stuff, right?
And they are called "emanations, " not "avatars." Darkseid's "avatars" are just _even weaker_ clones that each emanation of Darkseid is capable of making, and they run errands for him when he needs to be in two places at once. Totally different concept. Hope all this helped! Enjoy and stay tuned!

No wonder Darkseid acts so calm when fighting the Justice League. He's just playing an old Nintendo game

Does that mean that “Darkseid” fighting the Justice League is like him playing an infuriating game and each time he “loses” is him failing to win the “Game”? Does that make the Anti-Life Equation a cheat code?

You know, the Infinity Gauntlet doesn’t look so impressive anymore.

This makes the final line of Mister Miracle mean so much more, “Darkseid Is....but so are we.”

I'm not a big comic book reader, but your vids make me think that superhero comics are almost a sort of modern mythology.

Me, before watching: I've heard of Darkseid... why not learn a bit.

Me, after watching: I need to meditate and reflect inside myself.

If we are evil
We are but a fraction of Darkseid.

Well where's my damn Omega Beams.

I wonder what the Joker would think of the concept of Darkseid being all the evil there is. That every evil act the Joker commits is universally, by law, at the behest of Darkseid.

I have a feeling it would bother the Joker in some way, because it would make his actions feel less chaotic, and only show that he’s being controlled by a universal abstract. That Darkseid is, and he is not.

I think he just unintentionally theorized how God Himself works...

Tyler tweeted after this video went up that he couldn't fit it in, but that it was cool how Superman is routinely the one to defeat Darkseid. The absence of all good, beaten over and over again by the best of us. I think about this video and that tweet a lot.

Imaginary axis: he once almost destroyed the entire multiverse just by falling on it.

If Superman, Batman, etc knew we existed, they’d hate us for the pain and insanity we’ve written them into and the way we encourage their continued torment They’d absolutely see us as evil

Well, they certainly tied that up nicely. If the readers are “the Empty Hand” existing in a universe under Darkseid’s, under his influence, he can never die. I mean, he can die, but the “Darkseid”, the evil in the readers will perpetually revive him because we all got a little Darkseid in us.

Funducation at its finest.
