Using an Arduino with Python LESSON 1: Introduction, Prerequisites and Class Gear

In this video I introduce our new class where we will learn how to control the arduino using Python. This will allow us to animate stunning 3D models and graphics with data coming from the Arduino. In this class, we will be using an Elegoo Super Starter Kit, available below (affiliate link):

This is pretty cool.. old guy here (46) going back to school for my degree we are starting of with Arduino and C and sum C# they want us to do that for OO language. And later on move to C++ but in the near future say within the 4yr i'm doing this. if i can manage it i would love to learn more about python my env is set and python ready that's not going to take any time.. For videos on electronics, I'd say Paul does the best "series type" formats for us tyro novices getting an education on YouTube. Bill from Dronebot Workshop does the best on specialized topic videos, and Jeremy Fielding ranks up there in the top five as well. Being an old school electrically inclined person, code writing class is my greatest need. Thank you Paul for filling this gap I have in my studies. God Bless you sir.

I'm in! I'm coming over from the end of the new and improved Arduino tutorial series. I'm working on extending my skills and abilities acquired during that series by developing projects by other creators (before starting to design and build my own). I'm still planning on doing the RPi and Pico classes as well so this seemed like a good bridge to cultivate my Python programming skills, while getting more comfortable with integrating Arduino-controlled systems with the data analysis and machine learning systems in the Pi.
